Todd Adams Rebrand

CBD Kratom | 2022

Challenge:

Rebrand Todd Adams with a new, refreshed look and lean more into an "effect-based" line of products.

Originally silver & black, I aimed to rebrand using gold & black - giving the brand an upscale vibe for the more refined cannabis consumers looking for a luxury experience.

The finalized color palette was based off the "mind, body and spirit". A secondary palette was also established so it would be easy to expand the product line later if needed.

Spirit: All psychotropic products

Body: Products that are meant to be relaxing or sedative to the body ("downers")

Mind: Products that are formulated to ease and calm the mind, or provide a mental boost ("uppers")

The first product to be produced from this project were the "effects" softgels. Packaged in a tower containing 30 sachets, these would be an easy "grab and go" additive to any routine.

Working iterations:

It began with very heavy art-deco vibes with delicate line detailing, then later it was evolved into a pattern that would change based on the effect it represented. Later in the design a heavier emphasis was placed on the "effect" over the brand logo.

Version 8 was used to flesh out the next steps...
